A Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) system is a highly efficient water treatment process used in Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP) to remove suspended solids, fats, oils, and greases (FOG) from industrial and municipal wastewater. It works by introducing air into wastewater under pressure, which dissolves the air and releases it at atmospheric pressure, creating microscopic bubbles that attach to contaminants and float them to the surface for removal.
